NC-tolerance carbide square-nose end mill with a plus-tolerance cutting diameter for a direct upgrade from high-speed steel to carbide without changing diameter. Designed for general-purpose machining across a wide range of materials.
AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating provides high-temperature stability, reduced friction at the cutting edge, and excellent abrasion resistance at high cutting speeds—offering superior heat resistance compared with TiN, TiAlN, and TiCN coatings. Carbide construction resists wear and permits higher cutting speeds than high-speed or cobalt steels.
Square-nose (square-end) geometry produces sharp, unrounded cuts ideal for contouring, slotting, and pocketing in precision machining.
