The mill masters craft small batches at slow speeds allowing for finer control of quality. This slow approach produces a sheet of great strength that shares much of the working integrity of more expensive mould-made papers.
Cold Press - This lightly textured paper surface is the most popular finish for watercolor paintings. It reflects light well, retaining the transparent quality of watercolors. The light tooth makes it easier to achieve certain details, while the slightly rougher texture shows off granulating colors beautifully. Not limited to watercolors, it's also recommended for gouache, acrylic, airbrush, graphite, pastels, and charcoal. A versatile paper texture.
